New year, new news, new newsletter! http://bit.ly/1TEWPYK
Bear Lincoln
Bear Lincoln is a local California band who loves all things bear and Lincoln, hints the name Bear Lincoln. The first time I heard this band was at a live show in Chico, CA. Their funky sounds make you hop out of your seat to dance around. But, it’s not only those funky beats that make you groove it’s also their infectious energy.
If you’d like to check out this funky rock group they have an upcoming show this Friday May 2nd, in Crockett, CA at the Toots Tavern. Or go check em out on bandcamp. http://bearlincoln.bandcamp.com/album/bear-lincoln
We’re excited to announce our first show in 2016 will be an ALL AGES event at the historic Ashkenaz in Berkeley! Aaaaaand we’re playing with a band called SPACE TOILET, so you know it’s gonna be good.
This is benefit concert for the Harm Reduction Therapy Center, an organization doing important work in San Francisco.
We hope to see many of you there in January (tell a friend or five) and we wish a happy everything to all!!

Recording this weekend was a truly finger-lickin’ nail-bitin’ knee-shakin’ tail waggin’ success.
Huge thanks to Brad and AJ for helping us realize our heaviest and craziest musical dreams yet, and to Nick for stopping by to provide that sweet sweet bit of extra motivation.
We are so grateful/excited about this new music and we couldn’t be happier, we just couldn’t.
Day 2: ✔ #cymbalism 😱

Well friends, that was a night of nights. A king among kings of a night of nights. A dream come true of a king among kings of a night of nights. A really big shoe, as they say.
We wanna say thanks to Adrian, Dan, Noah and everyone at the Rickshaw stop for treating us so well on Wednesday. To Hibbity Dibbity and the Old Folks for putting on a really great show and being all-around great people. To all of y'all who came out to see us, thanks for being there, dancing, and saying hey (we met people from as far away as Stockton who drive out just to see this show!! Very cool.)
Lastly, thanks to Michael Schwartz for screening a tantalizing snippet of The Palette Project. In case you missed the clip at the beginning of the night, you can stream it online here —> https://vimeo.com/137640370 (it’s well worth your time) and if you like what you see, please consider donating to help finance the rest of this unique and powerful film!
Things are gonna quiet down for a little while on Bear-front, but (in case you didn’t know) we love you all very very much and we’ll post periodic updates from the studio, past, present and future! We’re excited to dive headlong into a new crop of songs, and we can’t wait to share ‘em with ya.
Until next time,
-A, B, D, & T (at Rickshaw Stop)
